For almost 30 years I've been blogging on my own domain. I offer all my articles and posts completely free on an open, independent platform. There is no advertising, I minimise my dependence on subprocessors, and I collect the least possible amount of data on people who subscribe to the newsletter.
It's my conviction that my content is of more value when it can be read by as many people as possible, including those who are unwilling or unable to pay. But I am so very grateful for those of you who have that ability – and do.
Sponsor, Sidekick or Supporter
Those who pay today generally choose to be a Supporter. This means you contribute 5 euro per month, or 55 euro a year. A Supporter doesn't get access to more information than someone who reads for free – and still some of you choose to support my work in this way. I am deeply grateful.
People do it because they trust me, they believe I'm doing something of importance that satisfies a need, and understand that the support really helps. I'm simply overwhelmed by the compassion.
Options for businesses and professionals
In addition to being a Supporter, there are now also the options of Sidekick or Sponsor. These levels involve significantly more money and are a way for me to offer services to companies, with a subscription model, as part of my ambition to step up my writing and creative work.
Sidekick is aimed at professionals who want to participate in an online forum providing a safe space for conversations with like-minded people, as well as guidance on working with good-hearted tech. Discounts for events where I'm on stage are also announced primarily to people on the Sidekick level.
Sponsor gives organizations the opportunity to grant up to 15 employees the Sidekick level membership, while also including an annual online workshop or lecture for up to 500 people(!). Some exposure on the website and in my visual material may also be provided.
If you have any questions about these options for organisations, and what may be included, get in touch! 🥰
